Where does the session take place?

All the photo sessions take place at my in home studio located at Glendale, Queens.

When should I book my newborn session?

You should book your newborn session early in your third trimester. Please do not wait to have the baby to book your session. I only take a limited number of newborn due dates a month.

When does a Newborn session take place?

Newborn sessions are best done when baby is 7-14 days old, no later than 21 days. Babies are much more sleepy and curly during this time and easier to pose into those cute poses.

What should parents and siblings wear?

I recommend creams or neutrals tones. Short sleeves tops are preferred, solid colors, no patterns or drawings/stamps. The parents shots are typically taken from the waist and up. If not sure please feel free to ask me.

What happens if my baby is born as a preemie?

We will plan accordingly and the session will be scheduled when the baby is home and ready to be out. I typically schedule around the baby's original due date. Safety first.

What should I bring for the newborn session?

I provide all the props, accessories, outfits and anything needed for the session. Therefore you don't need to bring anything with you unless you would like to incorporate an object of sentimental value. You will also receive a prep guide prior to your session that will help you prepare for it.

When does a sitter session take place?

Sitter sessions are done when the babies are able to sit up on their own. Typical age range is anywhere between 6-9 months old.

When should I book my baby's one year old session?

You should book your session 10-12 weeks in advance to ensure date availability and to allow time for planning and post production.

Do you do cake smash sessions?

I do not do cake smash sessions.

What is your turn around time?

You will receive your online proof gallery within 7-14 days from your session date. Final retouched digital photos will take an additional 14-21 days to be ready. Any print products could take 7-15 days to arrive. Times may vary on season and other factors.

Are raw, unedited or proof images released?

Raw, unedited or proof images are NOT released or available for purchase at anytime.

Studio Hygiene is always a priority at Daniela Jimenez Photography.

Here are some things that I have always done and other new safety guidelines that I have implemented to ensure the health of clients.


Things We Do:

  • I am up to date with all vaccines including the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • Fabrics and props are cleaned & sanitized between clients.
  • Studio is cleaned and sanitized after each session.
  • Please be courteous of everyone's health. If you or anyone in your household has a temperature over 100.4 degrees or any other Covid like symptoms please contact me to reschedule.


Please be understanding as this is to protect your family and your little ones! I see a lot of your children and individuals with compromised immune systems, and your safety is my top concern. This policy will be strictly enforced. Thank you for your understanding!
